SOME GREAT GIG news to start your week – Arcade Fire will be taking to the stage at Marlay Park next summer, accompanied by Pixies.
They’ll be playing a double-header on June 29 – Pixies will be headlining the Marquee in Cork the night after.
No word on whether Irish fans will get on board with Arcade Fire’s desire for a formal dress code at their gigs (which is “super not mandatory” according to the band). These guys are delighted about it anyway:
Now Oisin, there’s no need to give all your money. An Arcade Fire ticket will set you back €61.50, and tickets will be available to purchase on Ticketmaster.ie when they go onsale to the general public on Friday the 13th.
